Classic Blush & Ivory Wedding at Deer Creek Country Club

Although I've been "retired" from doing weddings for the past 3 years now, you never really get out of the wedding game. I still do special events for people, mostly friends and family, or clients that are a perfect fit. When my cousin Hannah came to me and asked me to do her florals, of course I was honored! I spent many a weekend babysitting Hannah and her two sisters when we were all much younger. It's always a joy to make a loved family members day beautiful!

Hannah & Tyler wanted their day to be classic, and romantic, so for her florals we went with gorgeous blooms in hues of ivory, blush, and peach. We sprinkled in a few gold accents, and kept the blooms full, lush, and the foliage soft and light. I also got to collaborate on this event with one of my favorite floral designers, Katherine from Studio 421 Floral Design. Katherine is such a talent, and has been a guest designer with The Bloom Academy. She did the reception arrangements, and I did the personal flowers and head table. I think we made a pretty perfect team!

Thank you to Hannah and Tyler for letting me be part of your day, and to Elizabeth Ladean Photography for the beautiful images.
